Joint pain is
common among people. In a national survey, about one-third of adults reported
having joint pain. Movement of bones depends on joints. Any damage to the
joints from any injury or disease affects the movement and cause a serious
pain. It may be linked to the arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis, strains and
many other injuries. Pain may be restricted to one joint or migrate to the
others. Pain symptoms may be acute or chronic. Any part of the body can be
affected by joint pain. As getting older it becomes more severe and painful.
Pain may be severe or less but it affects the quality of life.
Joint pain can be
provoked by pressure, motion, and weight bearing activity. It is associated
with swelling, local warmth, tenderness.
Joint pain treatment includes physical therapies, medication, and other
alternatives. Home remedies i.e. rest, exercises, warm baths may give relief.
Tests that may be done include, C-creative protein, CBC, joint X-ray, Blood
tests, Sedimentation rate, MRI scanning is useful if the problem requires
further definition. Physical therapies i.e. cryotherapy, hydrotherapy are also
recommended for joint pain treatment. It can b overwhelmed by managing diet, by
doing exercise properly.
